Danny Agliam of the Dept. of Agriculture Cordillera and Councilor Leandro Yangot Jr. announce the activities lined up for the Urban Farmer's Month celebration on May 1-31 which include a lecture series on good agricultural practices, the Agri-Tourism Fair, Pet Festival and an urban gardening contest. JUNE 3 IS BICYCLE DAY

Councilor Elmer Datuin considers the proposed activities for the City's celebration of Bicycle Day every June 3 in support to the World Bicycle Day put forward by representatives of the seven bicycle organizations in the City who will spearhead the observance. City Agriculturist Alberto Tomas announces that 69 city schools have been granted fund under the Gulayan sa Paaralan program of the Dept. of Education to augment the school-based feeding program against undernutrition during the launching of the Urban Farmer's Month celebration set May 1-31 With Tomas are Councilor Leandro Yangot Jr. who announced the activities l for the celebration which include a lecture series on good agricultural practices, the Agri-Tourism Fair, Pet Festival and an urban gardening contest.
