The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and the Task Force Kennon Chaired by OCD-CAR Regional Director Alberto Mogol opens Kennon Road to the public this weekend to ease traffic which is expected during the upcoming PMA graduation on Sunday May 26 following a meeting at the OCD-CAR last week. Kennon Road is open to light vehicles from May 23, Thursday to May 27, Monday at 6AM only. RMC PIA-CAR

Baguio Fire Station firefighters responded to a fire incident involving an old house at the Imelda Village Barangay at around 3AM on Sunday. Fortunately no one was injured but investigation is still being conducted to know the damage and the cost of the fire incident. RMC PIA-CAR

Eco1 (Small)

Students of the Small World Christian Foundation explore the forest as part of their annual participation to the Eco-Walk program of the city government at the Busol watershed where they tended to the trees planted in their muyong, underwent lectures on the importance of the forest and even played games. Eco-walk, an award-winning children's environmental awareness program brained by newsman Ramon Dacawi has for years served as an open environmental awareness classroom to thousands of students. The Small World pupils were accompanied by their ates and kuyas undergoing the Special Program for Employment of Students also at the watershed.
