Cooperatives told to avail of credit surety fund

BAGUIO CITY March 05 – Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan urged established cooperatives in the city to start availing of the Credit Surety Fund (CRF) from the city government with the support of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to improve their financial standing beneficial to the greater interest of their members.

Local youth leader cited for exemplary int'l performance

City gets P5.6 million from fire safety certificates

BAGUIO CITY March 06 – The local government earned more than P5.62 million from the payment of fire safety inspection certificates as part of the requirements for the issuance of business permits for the first two months of this year.

Mayor appeals extension of BENECO streetlights maintenance

BAGUIO CITY March 07 – Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan reiterated his previous appeal to the members of the Board of Directors of the Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO) to reconsider the body's earlier decision to unilaterally terminate its existing memorandum of agreement with the local government for the maintenance of the city's streetlights while awaiting the conversion of the streetlight system to light-emitting diode (LED).

Panagbenga not a fund raising event – Domogan

BAGUIO CITY March 07 – City officials and organizers of the annual staging of the Panagbenga, popularly known as the Baguio flower festival, underscored that the month-long festivities is not a virtual fund raising event contrary to the perception of a number of individuals and groups that it is an income-generating activity of the foundation.
