Mayor authorized to sign MOA on completion of BCSAT building

BAGUIO CITY September 12 – The City Council approved a resolution authorizing Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan to enter into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) in behalf of the local government with the Cordillera office of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for the completion of the 5-storey Baguio City School of Arts and Trades (BCSAT) building.

City craft rules in boat rentals at Burnham lake

BAGUIO CITY September 12 – The City Council approved on first reading a proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No. 68, series of 1948 that prescribed the rules and regulations for boating in Burnham Park lake, fixing the rates of the use of boats, and providing penalties for violations of the measure.

Grant of financial aid to SK officials proposed

BAGUIO CITY September 14 – The City Council approved on first reading a proposed ordinance granting financial assistance to all Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) kagawads, treasurers and secretaries in the city, defining the procedures and providing funds for the purpose.

21st Milo Little Olympics North and Central Luzon

Baguio City Mauricio Domogan kicks off the lighting of the ceremonial torch during the 21st Milo Little Olympics North and Central Luzon at the Baguio Athletic Bowl on Friday. The city of Baguio is hosting more than 5,000 athletes, coaches, trainers and their family members during the games to be held during the weekend from September 07 to 9, 2018. RMC PIA-CAR

The city government of Baguio led by Congressman Mark Go, Mayor Mauricio Domogan and Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Ceasar Dulay, who was the guest of honor and speaker, conferred the 2018 Outstanding Citizens of Baguio award during the 109th Baguio Charter Day celebration at the University of the Cordilleras last week.

Awardees were (front row l-r) Bonifacio Dela Pena for Professional Distinction, Jose Tajan for Community Service, Teresita Marcelo for Culture and Arts, Esther Litilit for Education,Rosalinda Camat for Education, Jane Cosalan for Community Service, Generosa Carbonell for Community Service, Rolando Villanueva for Business, Jose Bugayong for Community Service and Guillermo Cortes for Community Service.
