Mayor urges children-in-conflict-with-the law to reform

BAGUIO CITY June 19 – Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan urged children-in-conflict with the law (CICLs) to start reforming themselves to be able to contribute in the sustainable growth of the city by being productive citizens of the community instead of being problems of the concerned government agencies and offices.

LTO opens Baguio driver's license renewal office

BAGUIO CITY June 20 – The Land Transportation office (LTO) recently opened its driver's license renewal office inside a mall right in the heart of the city, particularly at the second floor of Porta Vaga mall along Session road, to ease the burden of driver's in having to fall in long lines to have their licenses renewed.

VAWC cases in Baguio up by 35 percent

BAGUIO CITY June 20 – The Baguio city Police Office (BCPO) disclosed that violence against women and children the city from January 1 to the present increased by 35 percent with some 82 recorded cases compared to the 61 cases that were reported to the police during the same period last year.

Case of murdered Muslim leader to be turned over to CIDG

BAGUIO CITY June 20 – The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) is studying the possibility of turning over the case of Imam Bedejim Abdula, who was brutally murdered by a still unknown lone gunman right in the hear of the city, to the Cordillera office of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-CAR) to ensure a concentrated investigation on what was described as a high profile case.
