ECO-WALK

Eco1 (Small)

Students of the Small World Christian Foundation explore the forest as part of their annual participation to the Eco-Walk program of the city government at the Busol watershed where they tended to the trees planted in their muyong, underwent lectures on the importance of the forest and even played games. Eco-walk, an award-winning children's environmental awareness program brained by newsman Ramon Dacawi has for years served as an open environmental awareness classroom to thousands of students. The Small World pupils were accompanied by their ates and kuyas undergoing the Special Program for Employment of Students also at the watershed. Those interested to undergo the program may contact the Public Information Office City Mayor's Office at 442-2502. Aileen P. Refuerzo
