Army reservists hold series of medical missions to mark 1st anniversary

BAGUIO CITY – The 14th Cordillera Regional Community Defense Group Army Reserve Command will conduct a series of medical and dental missions in Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet this month as part of its 1st Reactivation Anniversary celebration.

The Baguio leg will begin on June 11 at the Baguio City Hall Museum Ground from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The succeeding schedules will be on June 14 at the People's Park and June 16 at the Melvin Jones grandstand.

The Benguet mission will be on June 18 at the Provincial Capitol Hall Lobby.

The command under unit head Col. Gregory Docil lined up activities for the anniversary with the theme, "Itaguyod and Makabuluhang Serbisyo para sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran ng Bayan."

The RCDG military reserve corps is composed of local and provincial officials, professionals and students who volunteered for the service.

They comprise the army reserve, air force, navy, Armed Forces of the Philippines-wide technical and affiliated reserves whose duties span disaster and rescue operations, socio-economic activities, humanitarian assistance and environmental protection. – Aileen P. Refuerzo
