BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio City Market Authority has been asked to submit plans and other documents in relation to the proposed additional hog corrals at the Slaughterhouse Compound to the city council on or before January 15, this year.

The request was made thru a resolution recently passed by the local legislature and ratified by Mayor Mauricio Domogan.

The measure reveals that various personalities were present during the December 4, 2017 city council regular session as resource persons relative to the invitation of councilor Arthur Allad-iw.

The invitation is in relation to the installed corral at the livestock market at Slaughterhouse Compound in Sto. Nino barangay, here.

Allad-iw chairs the august body's committee on employment, livelihood and persons with disabilities (PWDS) and is a member of the committee on market, trade, commerce and agriculture.

"As manifested during the deliberation, there is a need for the city council to confirm if there are any deviations from the plan prepared by the city buildings and architecture office on proposed additional hog corrals at Slaughterhouse Compound, Baguio city as mandated in the Market Code," the resolution states.-gaby keith
