Message from the Congressman

“Umali Kayo, Sumangbay kayo, Tuloy Po Kayo”

Congruent to my sworn duty and personal oath to render full accountability to you as my constituents who have bestowed me the honor to be back as your City Mayor, and in adherence to the policy of transparency we strictly implement in our office, it is my privilege to bring to your attention our programs, projects and advocacies to help bring back the glory, beauty and cleanliness of our beloved city through this website. With your support and cooperation, we are confident that we will be able to regain our city’s reputation as the cleanest and greenest highly urbanized city through our well-coordinated, synchronized and barangay-based endeavors to come out with sustainable solutions to the city’s solid waste problems, traffic, peace and order, tourism development, environmental protection and preservation among others.

Should you have questions, suggestions and recommendations to help us effectively and efficiently implement our desired programs, projects and advocacies to bring back the city’s grandeur, I shall be more than pleased to discuss them with you pursuant to our long standing policy of proactive, participatory and people-oriented governance.

I am forever grateful for the trust you showered and continue to shower upon me, and for the privilege I was given to serve you. Rest assured, as in the time I served as your city janitor and messenger over the past two decades, I shall continue to discharge my duties to deliver what are expected of me as your come backing janitor. It is always a pleasure and honor serving all of you.

As we had just entered a new era in our city’s century-old history, it is my fervent wish that we face the future on a positive perspective, with renewed hope, ready to start anew, confront new challenges and grab every opportunity- the opportunity to serve God and our people, the opportunity to become better citizens, and the opportunity to become the best that we can be and reach our maximum potential.
