COA' Legal Action


City Auditor Noemi Tagudar reveals six barangays in the city will be facing possible legal action for not submitting disbursement vouchers and pertinent documents for their barangay projects and other activities during City Hall's flag raising ceremonies May 14.


Illegal Recruiter Busters


City officials led by Mayor Mauricio Domogan, members of the City Council and POEA National Director for Licensing and Regulations Division Atty. Melchor Dizon sign the renewal of Memorandum of Understanding between LGU-Baguio and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) on Illegal Recruitment-Free Cities, while barangay officials look on. Other signatories are Councilors Peter Fianza, Erdolfo Balajadia, Betty Lourdes Tabanda, Elmer Datuin, Nicasio Aliping Jr., Nicasio Palaganas and Philian Weygan-Allan. The city government of Baguio in coordination with POEA also conducted a seminar on Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Anti-Trafficking during the affair.

Malacanan Releases P80 Million for Irisan Dumpsite Closure

Mayor Mauricio Domogan last week bared the release of P80 million from the national government for the conversion of the closed Irisan garbage dump into an eco-park even as city officials met anew on a proposed P86 million outlay for the hauling out of non-biodegradable trash this year to an engineered sanitary land-fill (ESL) in Capas, Tarlac.
