CITY MULLS RE-ASSESSMENT OF CLEAN AIR ACT ORDINANCE

BAGUIO CITY - Because of the inconsistencies on the smoke emission machine readings of both the accredited Private Emission Testing Centers (PETS) and the city's Roadside Inspection Testing and Monitoring Team (RITMT), it has created confusion and several contention among the private and public utility motorists. Thus, the city is taking into consideration the creation of a Special Task Force that would help in the re-assessment of the city's clean air act ordinance including the provisions of the RITMT.

Eight differently-abled athletes brought home pride and honor to the city once again in the 2nd Philippine Sports Commission-Philspada Para National Games last March 15 to 23 in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Prisoners keep "earth hour"tradition

Inmates of the Baguio city jail kept tradition, bucking an early evening drizzle and again going over two hours in their annual observance of "Earth Hour +", the world-wide call for shutting off electricity as a means of reducing fossil fuel, a major culprit in global warming.
